Stones River Manor

The year 2007 marks the 30th anniversary of Stones River Manor’s service to the community.
The opening of the Manor three decades ago was the culmination of months of tireless effort and considerable financial sacrifice by a group of dedicated leaders in Murfreesboro Churches of Christ. As time went on and the Manor moved toward becoming a reality the core group grew and ultimately included entire congregations.
In 1973, the elders of the North Boulevard Church of Christ began the process of consulting with other Christians from local congregations in Rutherford County about the possibility of constructing a home for senior citizens, and to obtain estimates on the probable cost of land, construction and furnishing such a facility.
Much credit and many commendations are due to a host of persons who have contributed so unselfishly over the years to insure the preservation and growth of this wonderful place. May God bless each of them and their families for their loving dedication to Stones River Manor.
