Stones River Manor, founded in 1977, is Rutherford County’s only faith-based, nonprofit senior living community and 2024 Ruthie’s Community Choice Awards Winner. As a full service, continuing care campus, the goal of the Manor is to provide a comfortable, happy, secure environment for our residents. Full Time

7a-3:30p 1-2 days/week + 8a-8p every other weekend

Summary

Keeps the facility in clean, orderly condition by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Clean all entrances
  • Daily trash routes: pick up/dispose of trash to and from the correct locations
  • Clean floors by sweeping and mopping in the facility such as common areas, hallways, kitchen, etc.
  • Vacuums hallways within facility
  • Perform light maintenance and request tickets of needed maintenance
  • Respond to maintenance ticket requests
  • Test emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
  • Clean and replace air conditioning filters
  • Repair and paint outbuildings, walls, etc.
  • Trim shrubs, tree limbs, flower beds, and along walkways
  • Water plants, shrubs and flowers
  • Wash outside windows
  • Pressure wash walkways
  • Clear snow and debris from walkways
  • Spread salt on walkways when needed
  • Maintain monthly training compliance via computer program

 Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (preferred but not required)

One or three months related experience, training, or equivalent combination of experience and education

On the job training is provided for this position

Computer skills are beneficial
